Everyone I ever dealt with was extremely friendly and professional, and securing a policy over the phone took literal minutes. Until this morning. It turns out that the car I bought last month is an obsolete vehicle (no replacement parts are manufactured anymore); the dealership agreed to let me trade-in the car, but prior to picking up my new vehicle, I needed proof of insurance (required by law!). Whomever I spoke with at Hix this morning was not very polite; she said I needed a Bill of Sale in order to purchase insurance. When I questioned this, she placed me on hold for over 7 minutes. I finally gave up, then found and purchased a policy online for about half of what Hix was charging me. Consistency in customer service is pretty crucial, and Hix, you lost my business/money today for the inconsistencies of one person. Sad but true.
