  Olivia Thomas, has been my Senior Advisor for several years. I greatly appreciate her assistance and guidance for my Annual Medicare Benefits Enrollment, and Financial Annuities & Life Insurance Policy. Olivia is an Outstanding Customer Care Representative who exemplifies the highest level of expertise and professionalism. I don't attempt to figure out my best options. Annually, Ms Thomas arrives at my home with all the important and pertinent information needed. Thank you, and KUDOS💐 😃

  My wife and I were approaching age 65 and really had no idea how to set up for Medicare, how to prepare for Social Security, no idea how to set up medical gap insurance, indemnities, annuities and other things we needed to know. American Retirement Counselors (ARC) became our lifesaver and walked us through ALL the things we needed to know. Over the past two years they have guided us through setting up all the things we wanted to accomplish with our post-age-65 insurance and medical goals. They even saved me about $2,000 per year in medical premiums over my pretty decent previous plan from my employer and got me better coverage including adding indemnities and gap insurance. Strangely enough, about a month after ARC got our plans all set up (and even before we actually turned 65), my wife needed emergency surgery at the hospital and all the medical protection ARC had set up for us kicked in. It saved our bacon financially, as well as providing additional home care and rehab that we would not have had available before we connected with ARC. We are firm believers in ARC and are working with them now to set up an annuity. Go ARC!!

  Incident from January, 2016 My family and I are deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service from Mr. Rick Brewer. He was more than happy to "sell" my 87 year old mother a health insurance policy. When selling an intangible product such as insurance, a salesperson must know that the intangible product comes from actually serving the customer. "We work for you. Not an insurance company'', is under your company logo. I would not call it a mission statement. I have looked for a mission statement, but could not find one. There was a long delay in my mother receiving her proof of insurance. What the problem or delay was, is not a matter to us. My mother and sister repeatedly called Mr. Brewer, left messages about this problem, and was repeatedly ignored or calls were not returned. Today, late afternoon, my sister was finally contacted by Mr. Brewer with my mother's new policy number, at the "eleventh hour". She has a doctor's appointment tomorrow. This is unacceptable. We are expecting an apology and an explanation as to why Mr. Brewer did not respond in a timely manner. The insurance marketplace has forever changed, and there are many choices. Elderly people such as my mother, should not have to worry for even a day about their health coverage. Families should not spend precious time wondering and worrying. In the end, she finally got policy her number, however, little was done to win our trust back.
