  What should have been a simple water leak turned into a drawn-out, exhausting, and infuriating battle with Filippi Allstate that has been dragging on since October 2023 — yes, you read that correctly. Instead of help, I got delays, excuses, silence, and ultimately a settlement that shortchanged me. My adjuster, Parker, repeatedly vanished for months at a time, refusing to return calls or emails while my home sat damaged. At every turn, I had to chase answers that should have been proactively handled by them. The lack of accountability and basic professionalism was shocking. To make matters worse, I was forced to pay $650 out of pocket over my deductible just to stop the leak, and Allstate has flat-out refused to reimburse me for it. That is not protection — that is passing the problem back to the customer. As a customer, I made every single payment on time, but when it came time for them to do their job, it took years, endless runaround, and zero accountability. It’s outrageous to pay premiums faithfully for years only to be treated like an inconvenience when you actually need your insurance to do what it promises. This claim was mishandled from start to finish, and I am still out of pocket for repairs that should have been covered. If you expect timely service, honest communication, and a company that actually stands behind its policyholders, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. My experience with Filippi Allstate was beyond disappointing, it was unacceptable.
