- JJJulie Y. Bost (Jewlz)May 26, 20242.0I have been an Allstate customer for over 20 years and have both my home and auto insurance with them. I find they are very expensive in both areas and no customer loyalty benefits are offered. Consumer Reports also recently rated them as one of the lowest rated companies in regards to the amount they charge customers compared to other insurance companies and customer service is not up to par. I have not seen any benefit of being with Allstate based on the rates they charge. They are very difficult to deal with when filing claims to repair damages. I have researched and gathered auto and home quotes from other companies highly rated by Consumer Reports and the quotes were very ideal. I will be moving my business to another provider in the next couple of weeks. Loyalty just doesn’t mean a thing to agencies anymore.
