- JMJeffrey MillerSep 8, 20251.0Terrible experience. Allstate sent cancellation notice within two weeks of homeowner's coverage after self-guided inspection showed ivy growing on exterior wall. Even falsely claimed an "inspector visited the property" though it was clearly the photo I had submitted. Ivy was easily removed. Agent committed to following up but never heard back from anyone on the team. Follow Up: Thank you for taking the feedback seriously, and I hope it will lead to improvement. I only wanted you to do what you said you would do, and that is to let me know what needed to be done to keep my coverage. You committed to do that in a July 14 email. That was the last I heard from you. My follow up email requests went unanswered. And the only phone call I received was to ask for more business, like bundling auto. That really doesn't count. No one called me about fixing my problem. PS: Allstate corporate didn't inspect my property. They looked at the pictures I sent them. That's hardly a diligent process.
