  Terrible experience. Allstate sent cancellation notice within two weeks of homeowner's coverage after self-guided inspection showed ivy growing on exterior wall. Even falsely claimed an "inspector visited the property" though it was clearly the photo I had submitted. Ivy was easily removed. Agent committed to following up but never heard back from anyone on the team. Follow Up: Thank you for taking the feedback seriously, and I hope it will lead to improvement. I only wanted you to do what you said you would do, and that is to let me know what needed to be done to keep my coverage. You committed to do that in a July 14 email. That was the last I heard from you. My follow up email requests went unanswered. And the only phone call I received was to ask for more business, like bundling auto. That really doesn't count. No one called me about fixing my problem. PS: Allstate corporate didn't inspect my property. They looked at the pictures I sent them. That's hardly a diligent process.

  Never returns calls. This agency has caused us so much stress in the 5 years we've been policy holders with them. The office will not answer questions. After damage to our house they would not provide any guidance and told us to call the 1-800 number and open a claim which resulted in a non renewal of our home policy. They then messed up our policy term dates and were inaccessible when we attempted to contact them to correct during normal business hours.

  Allstate has changed my perception on the insurance industry in a very positive way. From the first contact, requesting insurance quotes for my cars, house and toys to a recent claim, I felt that Allstate is different from my previous insurers and that I'm in good hands. The premiums are very competitive and dealing with my agent, Eric Bohman, provides an experience that feels more like a beneficial partnership than an evil necessity. My wife's car sustained some ugly damage from a pack of stray dogs that felt the need for chewing up the bumper and one of the quarter panels. Since I wasn't sure how to handle this situation, I sent a quick note to Eric, asking for advice. Not only did I get a super fast response, but he also initiated a claim and set the process in motion. Another Allstate agent contacted me not long after, to help me setting up an appointment with a body repair shop, making this a very easy and smooth experience. The only thing I regret is that I haven't found Allstate a lot earlier! Thank you Eric and thank you Allstate!
