Hello Jeff, I truly do hope this review finds its way back to you. It's been a few years since I've been insured by Allstate and Jeff was my agent, but my experience with Jeff was so bad that it still rubs me wrong till this day. I figured if I could help at least one other person avoid Jeff Parsons then writing this review will be worth it. Do you know how bad of an agent has to be for someone who hasn't been insured by them for years, to come back years later to write a one star review?
Where to start. I would consider myself to be a good client. Never once got into an accident. Never once filed a claim. I drive a safe little economy car. All this is to say, I'm not an annoying or risky client to deal insure. I've maybe corresponded with Jeff, 3 times tops in my entire time being with him as my agent. Yet each and every time it was unpleasant. Jeff was condescending and treats you like a child. Like I get as an insurance agent, you're often dealing with the lowest common denominator, but 1. You should treat everybody with respect, especially given that your line of profession deals heavily with customer service. And 2, I've rarely interacted with you and they were all for simple things like having my insurance cards emailed to me, or asking how much it would cost to insure a vehicle. I can just tell from the start, Jeff was annoyed by me.
Speaking of, let's go ahead and talk about my experience with getting a quote for a Dodge Challenger that I was thinking about getting. When I gave Jeff the vin number for the Challenger, he chuckled in a patronizing way, and told me the insurance would be way more than what I was currently paying for at the time. Like... Yes Jeff that's common sense. Of course a fast sports car is going to cost more to insure, than a 4 cylinder compact crossover. And Jeff's smug aura also suggested I couldn't afford it.
Funny enough, Jeff's horrid treatment isn't what sent me packing, it was the increase of insurance prices reach year even though I have a complete clean record. Again no accidents, tickets, or claims of any sort.
But let's discuss the process of me ending my stint with Allstate. I followed the proper protocol to have my coverage ended before it was set to renew, which by the way, Jeff didn't even inquire as to why I was switching insurance. Your average half way competent agent would at least inquire as to why you're leaving and try to see if there are any discounts they can offer to convince you to stay. I notified Jeff well in advance and sent him a letter as that was the directions per Allstate's policy termination instructions. I got a confirmation email back from Jeff stating he would cancel my policy in time before it renews. Imagine my surprise when I get an invoice for over $1,000 because my policy was not cancelled in time.
Thankfully I was able to call Allstate's customer service center and they cleared it up for me and fixed the mistake caused by Jeff's incompetence.
I would give Jeff 0 stars but unfortunately Google makes you give at least one. Jeff honestly deserves negative stars and to have his agent license permanently revoked.
Jeff if you ever read this, please quit your job and pursue a career that isn't customer facing. You are absolutely terrible at your job and you clearly can't do it well. I think after I get done posting this I'm going to look into filing a formal complaint with Allstate about your poor performance and conduct. Hope this review helps as many people as possible avoid pursuing you as their agent.

I was definitely not in good hands like their slogan says.
I have never been treated so badly by an agent and company in my life. The amount of problems I have had is way too long to explain, so I will just explain the main problem.
My son and I have been customers of Jeff since 2019. In March of 2021, my son had to get rid of a car because it had too many mechanical issues. My son still had to drive so I called Jeff to cancel the liability policy on the car he got rid of and asked that he be put on a new liability policy to allow him to drive one of my cars. Jeff said it would be too expensive to put my son on a new liability policy on my car and that he could put him on an “umbrella” policy to save me money. I trusted Jeff that he knew what he was talking about and that he had my best interest in mind, so I agreed. I found out just a month ago that my son was never on an “umbrella” policy. Instead of Jeff putting him on an umbrella policy, he just suspended the coverage on the car my son got rid of 4 years ago. My son was driving around uninsured for the last 4 years unbeknownst to us. I have spent hours and hours arguing with Allstate only to be told that I have no proof of Jeff suggesting on the phone to put my son on this umbrella policy. I was paying for a policy for the last 4 years that didn’t even cover my son to drive my car. Thank goodness, my son was not involved in an accident for the last 4 years. My case ended up being sent to the escalation department at Allstate. The woman that handled our escalation case, was terrible too. Her rudeness and lack of caring and understanding gave me severe anxiety and I would be in tears every time I spoke to her. As I said before, there is much more to this story but it’s way too complicated and confusing to explain.
I ended up filing a complaint with the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance. I have been told by the Missouri department of commerce and insurance that they have never seen anything so messed up as this.

My mother and I have both used Jeff for years. Very nice and helpful guy . I couldn’t be happier with his service. He's very helpful and knowledgeable. Always makes time and gives very unbiased educated responses.

Love this agent! He's helpful and never pressures me just gives me quick responses and info when asked! He's attentive and I've never had a problem. And he's gone above and beyond when I've asked for things .
