- BGBart Gills4 days ago1.0Facts: - bought a car Monday, sent in request for coverage prior to driving it - got an e-mail from allstate saying they need more info on my 2016 Subaru - found out Wednesday there is NO insurance on the car - local agent told me their system was down for 2 days and still isn't right - Agent Linn called, we talked, he suggested there might be a "glitch" in the system - Agent Linn suggested perhaps the branded title caused the issue - Agent Linn stated perhaps I had entered the VIN incorrectly, you know, just one digit off would effect... - a number of excuses was offered by Agent Linn, however - there's NO way I could have gotten a message about my 2016 Subaru unless they DID recieve my request properly - I don't like when a person suggests I made a mistake to cover the fact their system is whack. I moved my coverage from his office. Binding coverage over the phone or internet is one of the MOST important things an auto insurance carrier should get right. They screwed up and tried to blame me. Nope.
