- AHAdam HornDec 30, 20252.0Welp, it was a good run...but I feel robbed now. I had been with Allstate here in Jefferson City for over 7 years. They started off great for the first 6 years, but I noticed over the last year or so that the customer service was in decline and I was getting much slower response times and sometime not getting a response at all and having to follow up again. As I was waiting for a reply for an auto quote recently, I decided to check around to other places. Turns out, State Farm was able to save me $2,562.67 per year for the same bundle I had with Allstate (home + 2 auto + 2 motorcycles). You read that right, that is what I'm SAVING...not what I'm paying. I made sure all of my coverage is almost identical (although I am getting roadside assistance with State Farm which I wasn't getting with Allstate). So needless to say, I called Allstate and cancelled everything I had with them to move to State Farm. I gave 2 stars because they were good for several years, but if someone were to ask me if they should use Allstate today, I would say no because of the cost and decline in service.
