- APAlec PMar 23, 20263.0I originally reached out to this agency because they sent out a letter advertising an extremely good homeowner's insurance price - ~$900 per year while matching my current coverage I'm paying ~$3k for. After working through the quote with an agent, surprise, the final total was much higher, and closer to what I'm paying today. I'm guessing there is no way any insurer can offer ~$900 per year insurance on my home in this market. It is a misleading marketing tactic to get you in the door to get a quote. It still might be worth following up with them, as to be fair, their prices were better than my current carrier. But if you get a mailer advertising a too-good-to-be-true price - just know it is too good to be true.

After 30 days, Katherine called to walk through all the policies again to ensure I was comfortable with all the coverages and verify I could get online and all admin was set correctly.
