  If I could give zero stars I would. I had 6 policies with her agency and when I told them I was going to go to another company for my primary home and auto they informed me that the other 4 policies would have to be cancelled because Allstate does not permit this…which is false because Allstate allows this and leaves it up to the owner of the agency to decide. Well I tried to get it transferred to another agency but Glenda called that agency to complain, causing the other agency to not move forward with the transfer. I submitted a complaint to Allstate about Glenda and was finally able to transfer to another Allstate agency.

  I had an extremely disappointing experience with Allstate, cancelling a policy with Glenda Palacios. After calling to cancel my policy, I was told that I had to follow up with an email to finalize the cancellation. This extra step feels unnecessary and burdensome—especially for members of the Hispanic community who may not have internet access or email accounts. It’s a policy that seems designed to make cancellation difficult, and in my opinion, it disproportionately affects vulnerable customers. This kind of practice feels predatory. If a verbal cancellation is accepted during signup or billing, it should be honored during termination. Forcing people to jump through digital hoops after a phone call is not just inconvenient—it’s exclusionary.

  This has been the worst insurance experience and customer service I have ever encountered. I tried to cancel my policy after speaking with one of their representatives, but they refused to do it over the phone, which is completely inconvenient. I needed help on a Saturday and couldn’t reach anyone. When I called Allstate directly, they told me the policy ID I was given doesn’t even exist. The lack of communication, unhelpful service, and overall disorganization have made me decide to cancel immediately. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not waste your money with these people, I should’ve read the reviews before.

  I just switched my insurance back to Allstate. Mrs. Joselyn’s assisted me and provided great recommendations. She was extremely helpful and super professional. She took the time to help me out.
