- TBTravis B.Dec 8, 20251.0Insurance cost went up 30 percent after one year with no claims. When I asked why the cost increased I was told covid caused everything to cost more. I then asked why my insurance coverage did not increase to reflect the cost increase and I was mot given a logical answer. So I either have coverage that is subpar to cover my home in a total loss, or Allstate has price gouged my premiums. If you like to pay more for less coverage, Allstate insurance would be a great place to start.
