Steer clear of this office at all costs unless you enjoy being gaslit, embarrassed, and treated like garbage. Lizzy (Elizabeth) can be rude, confrontational, and seems to not want to keep clients. My issues started in late 2025 when the desktop site (where I made my payments) was apparently having issues. It somehow added my renter's insurance payment in with my auto payment even though you can only make the payments separately. I had bank and email receipts showing this (which I texted to Lizzy). The problem was found and payments adjusted, thank goodness. However, although this was an issue with the website, I was made to feel as if it were my fault. I even asked Lizzy to report the issue to their tech people and was blown off. Next month, I paid my policies online as usual, and the amount for renters was slightly different than usual, however, that happens from time to time when you're nearing the end of the policy, so no biggie, I THOUGHT. I paid it, and again, a mess ensued! Again, I had proof of what the website said and sent it to Lizzy. This time it was a $0.15 discrepancy. To avoid any issues, I immediately paid the FIFTEEN CENTS. And even though the payment was made right away, I received a POST CARD in the mail telling my entire small town (because of my nosey, loud-mouthed mail carrier) "Missed renters payment!! Policy Pending Termination!!" OVER FIFTEEN CENTS!!!! Then, in February, things got even crazier. Mind you, I am dealing with the death of my father and was a mess anyway. But on the 1st, I made my payments as usual (the amount due on each policy was the same as the prior month) but suddenly I'm being told I owe an extra $15 on auto! AGAIN, I sent them screenshots of both the website AND app showing the amount due and amount paid, which matched, and no additional amount was showing as due. HOWEVER, the following month (March) showed an extra $15 due. This time they claim it's a late fee! Here's the thing, I've been making my payments on the 1st for over a year and a half and have never been charged a late fee. Apparently the Allstate home office couldn't find this mysterious $15, so just said it "must be" a late payment fee. I told the office on day 1 I would make all payments on the 1st yet they set the due date for the 30th saying "It won't come out till the first, so you'll be fine". No, that doesn't work with a federal debit card - it will decline. Because of my wanting payments to be on the 1st, they finally said they'd write 2 new new policies for the 1st - great! I read the new policies and agreed. All was well, right? WRONG! To my shock, they CANCELED my current policy on the 19th, leaving me uninsured AND sent another embarrassing post card!! Not to mention, one of my cars is full coverage, as it's not yet paid for. I was FURIOUS! They never once mentioned I needed to pay that mysterious $15 to keep my coverage. The website STILL never showed this amount due. That's not all... I went to pay the new policies today (March 1st) and the policies are NOWHERE TO BE FOUND! This was after CONFIRMING with Lizzy that I'd just make my payment on the website, as usual, on the 1st. To that, she answered, "Yes! Of course!". I have the emails of the conversation saved. Now no one is answering my texts, there's no policy showing and I am DONE with all of it. After all, I'm sure this will somehow be MY FAULT, yet again. Allstate insurance is FANTASTIC, but PLEASE find another broker and office! That is, unless you enjoy unprofessionalism, being told website mistakes are your fault and being charged extra money that doesn't show on the website. I've never had so many issues with an insurance company in my life. I'm currently looking for another company. Life is stressful enough!
