  I emailed Travis Stauffer on January 14, 2026, with important questions about my homeowners coverage, and to my great disappointment, I have received absolutely no response whatsoever—not even an acknowledgment. As a family-owned business that positions itself as treating customers like an extension of the family, I expected far better communication and basic courtesy. This complete lack of follow-through has left me feeling deeply let down and has significantly eroded my trust. It’s precisely because I value supporting local, family-run agencies that this experience is so frustrating and disheartening. This is the main reason I reluctantly gave only a 3 when rating my overall experience.

  Never had any business with them, but one day I received a notification from All State that my Auto Policy was cancelled out of the blue. I requested an investigation and All State found out that Stauffer Family Insurance cancelled my policy by mistake. I received no apologies, had to stay without All State insurance for almost a month while they investigated, went to another company for car insurance while that was happening, and when the investigation was over All State still made me pay for the month's of coverage that I didn't have because of the incompetence of this group. Don't do business with these people.

  I’ve been with Stauffer for many years, and Allstate for many more. I’ve been extremely happy with their services. They send reminders and help with updates and new tech. Prompt and professional handling the claim I had a few years back. Very happy.
