  Never had any business with them, but one day I received a notification from All State that my Auto Policy was cancelled out of the blue. I requested an investigation and All State found out that Stauffer Family Insurance cancelled my policy by mistake. I received no apologies, had to stay without All State insurance for almost a month while they investigated, went to another company for car insurance while that was happening, and when the investigation was over All State still made me pay for the month's of coverage that I didn't have because of the incompetence of this group. Don't do business with these people.

  Received a flyer for a home insurance quote. The price shown was less than what I pay now so I was curious and reached out. When they sent me an official quote, it came back at $7,000 annually and was more than 4x what the mailer they sent had quoted. Worst bait and switch I have seen. Frustrating.

  I'm a former long-time Allstate customer who left after huge price increases. I tried two other agencies that did me well the first year and then came the colossal renewal increases. I'm also a firefighter that had to retire early due to back issues, and I thought I'd need a part-time job just to pay insurance and tax increases. Then I got a flyer in the mail from the Stauffer Agency with a too-good-to-be-true homeowner's estimate with an asterisk next to this amount. It seemed too good to be true, so I threw it out, but then got it out of the trash to see what they had to say. Sure enough, the actual amount was higher but they still beat my provider by $600/year with identical coverage! I did, however, find the auto insurance cheaper somewhere else. Then came the homeowner's renewal. I thought now it'll be ridiculously high. They hook you in with a good rate the first year and then slam you the second. Not this time! They still beat the competitors! Then they also beat the competition with identical auto policies this time around, adding in a bundle reduction that made it yet even better. This is something I've never experienced in the insurance world. I assumed because I'm 58 and never have filed a homeowner's or auto claim that that may have been the reason, but they even beat The Hartford, who deal with only those roughly 50 and older. The Stauffer Agency really did me well at a time I needed it most! Thank you, Stauffer Agency.
