I’ve been an agent since 1987 and feel very fortunate to own a business that helps people in their time of need. I’ve been married since 1986 and am proud to work with my son, Kevin, who is the oldest of my eight children.
A customer for over 20 years, they canceled my homeowners without a phone call or email. Received cancellation notice via mail, as Allstate hadn't receive the check from mortgage escrow, which was set up as auto pay. Called the Kevin Rouse agency, they wouldn't reinstate the original policy. Requested a new quote, they said they would get back to me. Also e-mailed Kevin Rouse directly about this situation and never received a reply back from him. Meanwhile, I acquired much lower quotes from both State Farm and Farmers within 1-2 days. When Allstate called back 5 days later with a quote, I had decided to purchased from a competitor and promptly canceled my Allstate auto insurance for 2 vehicles. Kevin Rouse lost 3 policies and his representative had no qualms about it. Poor customer service with zero regard for loyalty. I never post reviews, but this situation deserves to be heard by future or existing customers. I wish there was an option for zero stars.
