- JVJose Andres VilaMar 10, 20261.0I have been a client of Allstate since 2006 when purchased my home in Chicago. Initially I thought “this is nice” I went online and filed an insurance claim during the winter of 2025. I remember it was the day before Thanksgiving when a winter storm damaged the roof of my home. The first insurance agent told “your policy only covers 60% of the new roof and you are responsible for 40%”. However, the story changed quickly, and Allstate refused to paid anything because “the roof was not damaged according to their policies” Allstate hired a third party contractor to perform the home and roof inspection. The company is called “Patriot” and they are rude, incompetent and unprofessional. Patriot contractors failed to show up to the scheduled appointments and their only intention is to help Allstate not to pay for anything. My roof has not yet been repaired. The PVC panels are holding up well now and I am worried about the upcoming rains.
- DVDr. Jose Andres VilaMar 10, 20261.0I filed a claim with Allstate and I experienced the worse moments of my life. It was like “Allstate” slapped me in my face and laughed at me at the same. My roof was damaged by the winter storm and Allstate simply said “the roof is too old and we cannot cover the repairs”. The “third party” roof inspector was send by Allstate to helped Allstate “not paying” and rejected the claim. Today my roof is covered with PVC panels to protect it from further damage and prevent the rain to come in the house. All the Allstate agents and representatives were extremely rude and disrespectful and most importantly they were careless and insensitive to the fact my roof was leaking yet but yet it severely damaged.
