- PPPamela pMar 16, 20211.0Last year when I bought my new Kia Rio I went to highway for insurance. I asked them about when the policy ends, and as they said they called me up and we renewed the policy after 6 months. I found out yesterday that I had no insurance on my car, so I called them and I asked them why they didn't notify me that how am I supposed to know when my policy ends I'm a busy person and I don't always remember when I need to renew things.the guy explained to me that there's a card inside that I should be keeping inside my car that has the date that the policy ends on it. My car has been without insurance for almost a month and nobody notified me. I told them that since they don't seem to need customers I would take my business somewhere else. I also change the policy on my other two cars to my new insurance also. So much for supporting the local small business man I went with Geico. Update: I was not contacted by the insurance company or your office to renew. As of 4/6/21 a month later. I still have not received the mysterious letters.
