- AEangela eideMay 1, 20251.0Allstate has done my mom awful. We lost my dad 3 yrs ago. When he was alive the paid out a claim on hail damage to their roof. They gave them the bare minimum and when I say the bare minimum I mean the claims adjuster told them to buy some sealer and gave just enough to do so. The dude knew nothing of what he was talking about. First off that's not how you fix a flat roof, throw sealer on it. So basically he made their roof worse. My mom talked to a roofer and he said this adjuster didnt know what he was talking about when he told my parents to put sealer over the damage. He did this because they didn't want to pay her the cost of the total repairs. They will do ANYTHING to keep from paying you what you should have coming. They are the worst! Just go on the BBB and look for yourself. They take advantage of older people for sure AND that's what they did to my mom a widow!
