  My issue is not so much with the agency as it is with Allstate. To make a long story short, they mistakenly cancelled my homeowners insurance and told me that due to non-payment of a premium (not true), not only were they cancelling my policy, they could not reinstate it because they were not writing new policies any longer. After days of many phone calls with ME doing most of the legwork, I finally got the problem straightened out with some help from Maruyama. Maruyama did help me get my policy reinstated, but it took too much time and effort on MY part. Homeowners insurance is hard to get these days so I will keep my policy where it is, but am not pleased with the way this was handled.

  I not familiar with my agency there was an abrupt take over of my account. I didn’t get any introduction or anything I’m sure I got an email or two but a personal phone call would’ve been better especially since they are virtually “handed” my account and money. So I couldn’t really tell you. Sad to see personalized service become a thing of the past!
