- SHShirley HopkinsJan 5, 20261.0Very disappointed, I was trying to find a better rate and decided to try Allstate. After what seemed like forever we got it all settled and I was ready to change. The quote was better than what I had. The problem was when they sent me the paperwork it was not what I was quoted. He tried to convince me that the more than $350 difference was because I was using a credit card instead of a debit card. He said there is a little upcharge for using a credit card but not $55 every month. So I learned my lesson the hard way. Live and learn. Why can't people just be straight with you.
