  Got quote for homeowners insurance when we bought house. Quote clearly states premium could change once it goes through underwriting not deductible. Quote received was for a 2500.00 deductible. We proceeded with Allstate. Next thing we know, the policy they put into effect was not what was quoted. They jacked up my deductible to 5000.00. Then when I sent them what was quoted and requested to correct, they said they would only change it back if we moved our auto ins to them. Quote stated nothing about deductible changing. They just took it upon themselves to change what I specifically wanted. They are shady and I am cancelling my policy. I would never do business with them again. Why they would leverage moving my auto ins to them for them to correct their mistake On my homeowners is wrong ethically. I will be reporting them and this issue to the ins commissioner. Do not use them, they will tell you one thing and then change it. What kind of company does this. The kicker is I specifically told him my son had significant medical disabilities and even told them he had 5 brain surgeries and that we could not do the 5000.00 deductible. They didn’t care and the fact that they tried to leverage me moving auto policies to them to change it is shady and unethical. I would give them no stars.
