- DDDavid DFeb 15, 20241.0I was with the lee dendy office for almost 20 years. I only spoke to him 1 time. No proactive contact on his part. Just set up my homeowners policy when I purchased my home and that was it. I had to call in and speak to his office staff when I wanted to review my policies. Didn't seem like I was a valued customer just another policy on the books. I called in to check on the cost of adding my daughter to my policy and found out my policy was going from 225 a month to 450 a month and if I added my daughter it would be going up to 900 a month....CRAZY. I called round and was able to get identical full coverage insurance for my wife, daughter and I for 175 per month and switched my homeowners policy. My homeowners policy increased my coverage and kept the same deductible. My policy cost on the homeowners went from 2500 per year to 1500 WITH BETTER COVERAGE!! This is just my experience and I am sure that others have had a better experience. Glad I switched to progressive.

They actually treat you as a person and not a number, never had one grievance with the Lafayette office, but cooperate offices are a nightmare to call , tried it twice and never will again but one call to Lee Dendy"s office and your faith is restored in the humanity of the insurance trade although my rates are outrageous for a 40 year clean driving record and zero claims. But I guess that's the price we have to pay keeping up all the uninsured deadbeats and illegals I mean driver's . Really! Great place and great people check them out maybe they could save you a little on your car, truck, boat, shed , firearms "for now" home or barn .
