  **Anything can be considered better than the service that we received here, and now that we switched companies we can feel better and safer for ourselves and our family than what we did with these people** From the beginning, he literally questioned why we would pay the bill early (i.mean who doesn't do that) because their system is so flawed it can't detect when someone pays a bill early so it will still withdraw the funds on the due date. Was a nightmare to work with during Hurricane Helene and and when we asked questions as to why our car insurance went up after losing a vehicle to the storm, the only explanation "ga needs a tax reform" when in reality everyone knows insurance punishes people for using the thing you pay to have. Then we finally cancelled and switched and I explained in email the dates of cancellation needed, and he put the wrong date in on the homeowners instead of the date we requested which caused us to owe...so because Jay Harvey screwed up, we had to pay more, and before finding that out we received a bill that didn't explain what it was for and when emailed and asked about it, no response. Then find out we had another bill we didn't even know about, I email again to ask about it and follow up and ask the documents to be sent to us, never sent the documents requested, and had his associates email back with super short snarky responses. So apparently when you cancel if you have any balance left over they send it straight to collections with out any notifications, no email, no text, no mail nothing! Allstate just wants to screw people over. They really don't care.

  This is really an indictment on Allstate as I've not met Jay. I changed to Allstate a year ago as my previous company had been raising rates at 10% a year for nearly 5 years. This year at renewal they increased my homeowners premium by $800. No communication whatsoever, and to top it off the Allstate office I'd signed up at closed (and I was assigned Jay). Anyway, I went back to my old company.
