  I have had nothing but bad experiences with this agency. We purchased our home in February of last year and were referred to this agency for insurance services based on the competitive rates they offer. To be fair, after comparing quotes with several other insurance providers, their rate was competitive and very reasonable for our age and situation. However, getting that quote was extremely difficult. Communication was poor from the start, and it wasn’t until we contacted our mortgage lender—who originally recommended them—that we finally received a response. It felt like pulling teeth just to get basic follow-up. Recently, as my auto insurance was about to lapse, I decided to try again with this agency so I could bundle my policies. We contacted the same representative and experienced the same issues: lack of response despite reaching out multiple times. I even called the office directly, and the interaction with whoever took my call was just as disappointing. I was made to feel like providing my information was a burden, and I was outright told they weren’t competitive and didn’t offer good bundled rates through Auto-Owners, one of the company they represent and broker for. At that point, it was clear they simply did not want my business. No customer should feel like they are begging an agency to take their money. This experience has been ridiculous and unprofessional from start to finish. I will be canceling my policy today. It’s especially disappointing given that this is a local business in Dalton, and it does a poor job of representing the community.

  The woman upfront doesn't know what she's doing and the lady in the back doesn't care. I don't recommend this place.

  Pam Shannon was a wonderful agent for us for the past 5 years. She was very responsive and helpful for all of our needs. Even when we ended up switching due to rising insurance prices (not her fault), she still was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend her and IRS!
