Never answer the phone. Don’t return emails/calls. Randomly increase rates outside of renewal period. Impossible to get a live person and the owner doesn’t care.

THEY ARE THERE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT WHEN YOU NEED TO GET A HOLD OF THEM, THEY ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. IT'S GOING ON 72 HOURS SINCE I FIRST CONTACTED THEM AND THEY WONT RESPOND/CALL BACK FOR A SIMPLE POLICY CHANGE PROCESS. WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE THEM TO ENSURE YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSETS IF THEY CAN NEVER BE CONTACTED?

Got renewal notice on auto policies. Been trying for days via email and phone calls to find out about renewal $ amount, as it looks off. Saw that per "Your Agent data" (and website) when I sign in, that the agency address (not this one) given, is open on Saturday. Just called and NOT open on Saturdays! What a misleading agent, not only on this website but on phone calls where I was told "someone will call you back." Which has not happened! But of course, Matthew Devine still has not answered or had someone answer, not even one e mail over many months. 100% zero communication from the person who is supposed to be my "agent"?? I called this particular Devine agency address as I had received help from some one here in Cummins on answering questions. This time when I called, got a Sarah. Related who I was and why I was calling. Was told very quickly that no one was available and that when someone was, they would call me back. No one has called back! Apparently they have gotten the "Devine credo" message...don't answer anyone! Yesterday, 2 days after expiration date of policies, someone called wanting payment. After some conversation, it turns out that it was this person's boss who had accepted signed CANCELLATION letters many days before actual cancellation date. This "boss" is also the one who has not kept a single promise yet he has made on cancellations, even as of yesterday! VERY disorganized and totally non caring about customers. But they do shoot a good line of "sorry, but........" none of which I believe.

Initially they seem great, but I’ve sent emails that have gone unanswered. I received emails from them about products, I had interest in a financial product but never heard back. I got my FIRST renewal and the rate definitely increased, I asked why, and no answer. I thought the purpose of local agencies was to avoid call centers? Also, highly disappointed I keep getting penalized for bad drivers but fortunately for Allstate that’s most insurance companies. I have two old cars that’s I’ve probably paid more premium than they’re worth. If auto increases again I wouldn’t stick with them.

We engaged Sam Yoon at Matthew Devine Allstate Insurance to secure commercial landlord and rental property policies for our corporate-owned real estate portfolio (LLCs). The experience was a complete and costly waste of time, punctuated by a concerning level of professional negligence and misrepresentation.
The agent repeatedly provided assurances about policy coverage and timelines that they consistently failed to deliver on. After significant back-and-forth and delays, the policy drafts we finally received were structured incorrectly. Specifically, they were written in a manner that dangerously failed to properly recognize our corporate entities, effectively exposing the principals to personal liability. The entire purpose of securing insurance under an LLC or Corporation is to safeguard personal assets, and this agent’s proposal actively undermined that protection.
When we pointed out this critical error, the agent offered conflicting and misleading explanations instead of correcting the issue.
If you own rental properties under a corporate structure and require an agent who understands how to correctly protect your limited liability status, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This agency demonstrated a fundamental lack of competence in handling commercial risk for incorporated entities.
