I had an Allstate agent in Nashville for 20 years who was outstanding. So, when I moved to Georgia I stuck with Allstate. I've been with Dean Bernard for many years now. I definitely haven't received the same customer service. If you enjoy phone trees, occasionally getting rerouted to India, and sometimes not getting called back for weeks, Dean Bernard is the office for you. I switched companies this past week only to find out I've also been overpaying. I've been ensuring three cars, a boat, and a house with Allstate. I saved almost $2,000 a year for the same coverage and actually have an agent I can talk to now.
well... there was a problem with my auto pay. I called and got that handled the same day, no problem. However, there was a "fee" that the agent I spoke with on the phone either failed to mention or didn't know about. bear in mind that up until this point I would receive an email telling me that they were taking payment and the date as well as any other transactions. When I notice that they have not contacted me about taking an insurance payment I contact the agent. she tells me I HAVE BEEN CANCELED. when I asked why she said she would find out and call me back... I called her back HOURS later.
the short version is... they sent a letter (snail mail) telling me that I owed $25 dollars and needed to pay immediately or I would get canceled. I NEVER GOT SAID LETTER. bear in mind up until that point they have my phone number, my email. But all of a sudden I was not sighed up for "paperless correspondence".
then proceeded to tell me there is nothing they could do. I could almost see her shrugging her shoulders and dismissing me, this was her tone. no options or let me see if i can help...nope. basically tells me I am on my own.
I called a different company, I suggest you do the same

You can't ask for a more involved staff who are ready to meet your needs. I would highly recommend this agency.

Dean has been our Allstate Agent for many years. His agency has always been very responsive and easy to work with. Dean is an absolute expert in his field and knows how to provide you with the insurance you need in the most cost effective way possible. We recently had to make a claim on one of our properties which is the true test of an insurance agent. Dean and his team promptly processed the claim and we were fully reimbursed for our damages very quickly. I will be a customer of Dean's forever.
