  I and my mother before she passed has had her home in Cartersville insured with Allstate for over 20 years. I had the policy changed to my name this past year. I was having repairs performed on the home. The repairs had to be re done. But this agent decided to cancel my insurance and not even notify me. He claimed he mailed the letter to check my mail was his answer. I have been in the insurance industry for over 30 years and any professional agent would not only mail a letter but they would follow up via phone/email and if the client had a online account with the insurance company upload the letter. This agent NOTHING AT ALL. So 3 days before I was to renew I found out by chatting with Allstate. They showed me a letter sent I guess to the agent but nothing was in my file showing a letter ever being mailed to me. So I decided to file with the insurance commissioner a formal compliant. People whenever you have an issue with your agent like Allstate you can always file a formal compliant with the commissioner if you are not receiving any resolution or assistance. I have confirmed Allstate does not want to pay any claims at all because every agent gets a nice bonus every year for not having any claims or very little filed. This came from someone with Allstate not an agent/agency. This agent is rude, unprofessional, not qualified, in- experienced and does not need to manage a Allstate Office. People you can get better coverage with an independent agency as they have up to 50 carriers to choose from and better professional assistance 24/7.

  We have had Allstate homeowners insurance for many years and they have always been very prompt and fair settling any claims we have had.We are very happy with Allstate and feel that we are truly in good hands.
