Courteous, but basically incompetent. Double check every request you send them, because if there's a way to screw it up, they will. That's my review of the local office.
State Farm itself will raise your rates if you don't shop around every few years, but that's true for most any insurance carrier. We switched to State Farm from Geico and saved hundreds, and we're saving hundreds now switching away from State Farm. Loyalty is not rewarded. I might give State Farm a chance in a few years, if I can use another agent.

I recently set up a renters insurance policy through this office and unfortunately had an experience that left me with little confidence in continuing as a customer.
Rumeal Robinson, Laila Campbell, and Ashley Nicholson were all friendly and professional in tone, and I want to be clear that this review is not a reflection of their character. However, throughout my experience I encountered consistent gaps in communication and customer service that made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily stressful.
From the start, there was an error with my policy information that required correction. While I understand mistakes happen, what became frustrating was the lack of proactive communication around resolving them. Questions I asked directly went unanswered, no clear next steps were ever provided, and I was left to initiate every follow up myself. At one point a material change was made to my policy, including a new policy number and effective date, without any proactive explanation of what changed or why. I only discovered this by calling customer service myself.
A good customer service experience doesn’t require perfection, it requires transparency, follow through, and keeping the customer informed throughout the process. Unfortunately that standard wasn’t consistently met here.
I’ve since moved my policy to another provider.

I had an amazing experience working with Tip. Her customer service was excellent from start to finish. Communication was smooth, and she took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I never felt rushed and she provided multiple options so I could make the best decision for myself. Overall, Tip made my decision to move forward with State Farm a very confident one.
