  AVOID THIS AGENT! The level of incompetence is staggering. After being a loyal customer for several years, and never missing a premium payment, I canceled my policy and left the country for an extended humanitarian mission in S. America. I specifically asked them to be very sure I had no outstanding balance knowing that I would be in a remote area with limited connectivity. I even double-checked with them before I left the US. They confirmed that THEY OWED ME a prorated premium refund, yet they sent me to collections for over $940 due to some "mistake" they made. I had to suspend my mission efforts on multiple occasions to first deal with the collection agency, then to deal with the incompetent reps in their office. Charlotte Hooks didn't even have the courage or decency to speak with me directly. She passed it off to her incompetent underlings. I rarely complain about poor service. I usually just move on. But this was such an egregious and damaging screw up that I thought it would benefit others to know. I can't image how terrible they would be if you actually had a claim. I strongly recommend that you go elsewhere for your insurance needs.

  Charlotte, Sarahi and the whole team have been excellent to work with. They helped sort out an auto insurance plan best suited for our travel back and forth to Florida. Great customer service!

  Allstate is a disappointment I have paid your premiums for several years now without any claims but you have taken it upon yourselves to charge me for several monthly payments in ONE month because of an unknown disconnection of my milewise computer done by a repair shop which repaired my insured vehicle. I had no knowledge of this until I looked at my credit card bill. It seems that an accommodation could have been made since it was not a violation of the conditions of the policy or any of the exclusions. Also my agent Charlotte Hooks did not make any effort on my behalf. She just takes the money and runs. Normally she notifies me when a monthly payment is being charged to my account but in this case numerous monthly charges were being made over a period of one month without m y being notified. It seems that all these extra monthly charges over a period of a month should have been a red flag for her to notify me that something was amiss. However, nothing. That is poor service and not what should be expected from an agent. I am not talking about a few dollars but a few hundred dollars of my hard-earned dollars. I am hoping that this might be looked at by a person who might take into consideration that I am a loyal insured in good standing who has been hit by a large loss which I cannot afford.

  Char Raymond at Allstate provided excellent service helping me switch from my expensive Progressive policy. She was efficient, personable, knowledgeable, and made the transition seamless. I truly appreciate her professionalism and the savings she helped me achieve. Highly recommend!
