- DCDavid CardenasFeb 10, 20261.0I had a very negative experience with Florida Insurance Center and Jeremy Burris and would strongly caution anyone considering their services. When I acquired my company, the monthly premium payments on my policy were not set up correctly, which ultimately led to my policy being canceled. I was never notified of the cancellation. To make matters worse, I was later audited and again received no notice from Florida Insurance Center, which resulted in additional unexpected expenses. Months later, Jeremy and his team informed me by email that my workers’ compensation policy had lapsed and that none of the carriers in their network would offer a replacement policy for my business. I only learned the full extent of these issues after partnering with a new broker during my renewal process. It was only after I informed them that I would not be renewing that Jeremy made any attempt to contact me by phone. Throughout my interactions, I found the communication and service to be poor and unprofessional. The lack of proactive notice, follow-through, and accountability created significant disruption and cost for my business. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this brokerage.
