When I recently attempted to use my coverage, I learned, after confirming directly with Allstate, that the policy terms were modified one day after my signature, without my authorization or written consent. As a result, the coverage in effect did not match what I originally agreed to and relied upon. This matter raises concerns regarding proper disclosure and authorization procedures. I recommend that consumers exercise caution and carefully verify all policy documents. I have requested that Allstate and the appropriate regulatory authorities review this issue.
