  I had auto insurance with Allstate for more than 30 years. When I finally got off my butt and got a quote from Geico it was $1,000's of dollars less per year for the same exact insurance. When I called to cancel my policy I was told that they would have to cancel my Umbrella policy as well, since you had to have Auto to have an Umbrella. Months later I get a bill for the Umbrella policy as they did not cancel it when I cancelled my Auto policy. Interesting that they lied when they said you couldn't have the Umbrella without the Auto. I won't pay it and they sent it to a collection company. When I called, Troy has an attitude and tells me there is nothing he can do, that I should call Allstate directly and ask for the recorded call to see what happened. I will be certain to spread the word around Marco Island as to how poorly this was handled.
