- JSJohn StewartMar 11, 20261.0Good news Insurance is regulated. My son called to cancel his policy because Progressive was $70 less than Allstate for twice the coverage. New coverage went into effect 2/25. New insurance sent declaration page to Allstate (not required by FL law to cancel). I was told by Allstate we would get a refund prorated about $200, but I got another bill. When I spoke to Jennifer herself, she said she didn't have any paperwork whatever that means, then hung up on me. Well Jennifer you can talk to the State regulators about it. Try hanging up on them

Not only can you expect overpriced insurance from them you can also expect poor customer service good luck trying to cancel your overpriced policy they make it almost impossible to reach the agent, then they request all sorts of paperwork to cancel this is the 1st insurance that's made it this difficult. Amber hung up on me and now refuses to answer my calls. We will be reporting them to Allstate. My mom has been calling since Jan 8th to cancel the policy Jennifer refused to return her calls now she's stuck paying for 2 extra days that Jennifer avoided her calls
