  Never had a problem with the Cassell agency until trying to cancel policy. Allsate has continued to substantially raise our premiums each renewal with no explanations. Nothing has changed on my part (no tickets, no accidents), so I called the office July 22nd to cancel auto debit and let the agency know I wanted to cancel the policy on the 30th of July. I even told them who I was replacing them with (progressive). I called the office today (July 18th) because I received a letter from Allstate asking for premiums and other fees to keep the policy from cancellation for non-payment. When I called the agency to tell them about the notice from Allstate and that I had called them on the July 22nd to cancel auto debit and to inform them of my intentions to cancel the policy effective July 30th, the agency told me they had a record of my call for the cancellation of auto-debit, but no record of my request for cancellation of policy. The office girl again stated that I didi not contact their office to cancel policy only to cancel auto pay and said it in a condescending manner I said the reasonI called your office a week before the renewal was to make sure the policy was not auto-debited for renewal and to inform them of my cancellation. The bottom line is the agency made an error when they failed to cancel my policy as I requested and made me feel like I was not telling the truth.
