- CTCurt TabenskeMay 13, 20241.0If you want to go with Allstate for car insurance then fine. Do not go with Stacy Hughes though as your agent. She sends out extremely deceiving bait and switch flyers to get you to sign up. The "estimate" on the flyer she sent me for car insurance for my two cars was $775.25. When I called and got the actual quote it was $2979.00. I understand the flyer was an estimate but to get an actual quote that was almost 4x as much is downright deceitful. They gave me an excuse that I had a young driver in the household but that does not justify the $2200 difference. My State Farm renewal with my young driver is only half of what they actually quoted me. If you're going to send out flyers at least make it close to what the actual might be. If you can't then don't send out such outrageous numbers.
