  Went in to get auto insurance for my new vehicle, I had the chance to speak with Marisol and not only was she able to get me insured but was also very knowledgeable with their services and educated me on all the different policy options that I was considering, was also very kind and provided excellent service!!

  Marisol Hyse, went above and beyond to find me the best rate insurance. She's very friendly and I believe represents your company the way it should be represented. I have experienced a couple other employees through Direct, 1 I couldn't understand what she was saying because of the hard candy in her mouth and the other one hung up on me when I told her I had already purchased my insurance through Marisol. I appreciate her help and she made the dreaded call to get insurance and pleasurable experience . Thank you Marisol.

  I initially called to get an auto policy while I was at the dealership, and the process took over an hour. I have bought cars before and needed insurance on the spot, and it has never taken this long. They asked countless unrelated questions, even about health, and I later found out they added a life insurance policy when all I wanted was auto coverage. I did not even intend to use Direct Auto. I called Allstate, my previous insurer, but because it was the weekend the call was routed to Direct Auto. I went ahead with the policy, planning to switch back to Allstate afterwards. First thing on Monday, I asked my Allstate representative to cancel the Direct Auto policy, and that is when the problems began. Even after signing the cancellation form and having everything documented, Direct Auto never cancelled the policy. I never received a refund for the initial charge, not even a prorated one, and I was billed for a second month even though it was supposed to be cancelled. I spent an hour on the phone trying to resolve it, but kept getting excuses. Because they failed to cancel the policy when requested, it rolled into the next month, and I did not receive the proper prorated refund.
