  Her staff failed to place homeowners insurance as promised and then continued to respond to email inquiries has if it was placed. By the time I discovered their mistake, my homeowners insurance had lapsed (during the hurricane season!) for many months and I was faced with forced place coverage and penalties when I finally secured new homeowners insurance. Litigation against this agency and agent is in the process of being drafted.

  Mariam Shapira and her staff have treated me and my family fantastic. They have always been proactive in meeting my insurance needs and I highly recommend them.

  This agency is very poorly operated. The staff are very uneducated and just run through the motions, really not caring about the business that gives them a job to go to everyday. I have been with this agency through it's past 2 owners and both have been terrible. The original owner not being there for a particular reason that I will not mention should have been a red flag from the get-go. I stayed because changing insurance companies is a pain in itself. The second owner has an incompitant staff that really do not care if the business goes down. I have tried to cancel my policy several times finally, obtained a new policy and had an agent Demeasha from this agency on a recorded line to MAKE SURE things very cancelled properly. I am now receiving collection letter stating my policy was never cancelled. First I was going to be issued a refund, NOW I OWE MONEY?! I know every agency operated solely independent because they are individually owned however, this is not one I would recommend to my worst enemy.
