- KCK CNov 7, 20252.0Switched to Allstate 1 year ago because the rates for property and auto insurance were better than what I was paying. One year later however my homeowners with Allstate increased by over $1000 which is a 50% increase. My auto insurance also increased above what I was paying before. I've had zero claims for both but saw a massive increase. The people at the office are nice but talk about a bait and switch.
