I like the coverage I have had for the last few years, but I am extremely unhappy with my homeowners policy almost doubling since last year! I am looking for alternate coverage.

The worst customer service I have experienced. Nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone after I started my home and auto policies. Lack of response to emails texts and phone calls. Literally had to hang out outside their office waiting for someone to return to speak to anyone. Incorrect information on my policy that caused issue later on. A second home policy was created without my permission. Presumably to not lose me as a customer when an inspection required me to cut tree limbs which I did prior to the due date. The second policy was not necessary. My mortgage company was billed twice and paid out twice. They said it would be taken care of after having to show proof that my mortgage company paid twice (which they could have confirmed without me going through the effort). I showed proof. However I recevied call some months later saying I now owed money. New office staff had incorrect information and disconnect between that employee and owner. Owner should have handled this directly. Staff was offended when I was upset with continued issues and her insistence that I owed money on the second home insurance policy that shouldnt have been in existence. I called main office and after 1 hour and 15 minutes on the phone to sort out the mess it was taken off. I never received any additional communication or response from the agent office. I ended up switching to another Allstate agent. Night and day with much better customer service. We detected other errors that were made and had to correct those. I believe that this office will do whatever it takes to score clients but are uninterested in customer service. Cant imagine issues if I ever had to make a claim. Allstate is not the issue. This agent is. My advice is to avoid. Wish I did.
