- KHKenny HigginsDec 31, 20251.0Stay away from Allstate Insurance! They say they cover things but when the time comes to need them, they send you in circles and won't take a claim. I spent over 3 hours between the 1800 number and their chat service trying to file a claim. They just send you in circles between "customer service reps" who can't answer questions or file the claim, and an AI system that doesn't understand English. My policy says I have $10k of additional living expenses insurance but I've been stuck in an apartment for 4 days now with no heat or water because I can't get my insurance to cover a hotel, or even answer if that is covered. All my neighbors are in hotels covered by their insurance but I'm stuck here with a policy that won't take a claim.
