  I have been with Allstate since 1987, spent over $80,000.00 to date. Recently my car was totaled by a young kid who turned left in front of me while going through an intersection with a green light. My agency did absolutely nothing to negotiate their lowball value of my car. It denied me $7,000.00. I provided 2 estimates from Audi dealers they wouldn’t consider because State Farm only uses an appraisal company that favors criminally low values. I asked for their assistance in going to bat for me. Guess what, Allstate doesn’t provide that service! Isn’t that their job? Isn’t that what everyone expects is for them to be a strong influence on your behalf? I’ve asked for my payment date to coincide with the middle of the month dozens of times as my first paycheck is mostly gobbled up with rent. I get ignored and receive emails threatening cancellation of my policy. I’m paying double what I should but cannot go to another company as the last 3 accidents are reflected my fault according to the DMV. How this even got reported is a mystery to me, the police were never involved in any of the incidents. My agent informed me they show up as no fault in their system. I have been asking for a letter from my agency documentation they were no fault and I keep getting ignored. I am livid with Allstate, they have turned into crooks. Do not insure anything through Allstate or State Farm. Their CEO’s are living high on life while us worker bees struggle to keep our noses above the water level. I’m over 60 years old and am so disgusted.

  I had home and auto insurance from the Harrington Agency for over 20 yrs until I had to move out of state, still looking for a new agent who can match their level of service and expertise. I highly recommend them.
