  Attention! If you are taking care of a parent or relative, and they are looking to be on several state plans, then you need The Light for Seniors. This group of people will make sure your paperwork is correct and submitted on time! These benefits need to be re-applied every year. Relieving YOU of the stress of dealing with phone calls to the state, when they lose some of your paperwork. Just trying to get the right state rep on the line is very frustrating. This group of people are willing to do the hard work to get your benefits filed on time and with full transparency. They take care of all the hiccups, leaving you stress free time to take care of your loved one. I used them for 5 yrs and never had a lapse in any benefit. Let me just say when you receive a letter from the state telling you, you missed something, it's worrisome to think the benefits might stop because of a mistake. It did happen several times during my 5 yrs. However, when I would call, they would say "yes we know and are working on it". Trust me this is what you want to hear when this happens. Like I said never a lapse in benefits. The Light for Seniors is a group that cares about you and your loved one. They are kind, courteous and diligent.   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Light for Seniors are actual angels. Full stop. My mom’s Medi-Cal lapsed because the recertification paperwork was sent to the wrong address. I wasn’t notified until two months after the deadline. As a first-year Medi-Cal family, I had no idea recertification was even a thing—so imagine my shock when I found out she could be disqualified and forced to private-pay for assisted living at $8,000 a month (yes, eight thousand). I emailed The Light for Seniors and heard back almost immediately. They jumped in, took over, told me exactly what they needed from me, which I provided immediately, and they went straight to work. They knew exactly who to contact in my county and how to handle it. They advocated for us in a way I’ve honestly never experienced. Forty-eight hours later—my mom was reinstated. A process that normally takes up to 60 days. When I say I’m grateful, that doesn’t even come close. If you’re navigating Medi-Cal, assisted living, or senior care chaos and feel overwhelmed or stuck—call them. Do not wait. These people are the real deal. Forever thankful. 💛
