  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Light for Seniors are actual angels. Full stop. My mom’s Medi-Cal lapsed because the recertification paperwork was sent to the wrong address. I wasn’t notified until two months after the deadline. As a first-year Medi-Cal family, I had no idea recertification was even a thing—so imagine my shock when I found out she could be disqualified and forced to private-pay for assisted living at $8,000 a month (yes, eight thousand). I emailed The Light for Seniors and heard back almost immediately. They jumped in, took over, told me exactly what they needed from me, which I provided immediately, and they went straight to work. They knew exactly who to contact in my county and how to handle it. They advocated for us in a way I’ve honestly never experienced. Forty-eight hours later—my mom was reinstated. A process that normally takes up to 60 days. When I say I’m grateful, that doesn’t even come close. If you’re navigating Medi-Cal, assisted living, or senior care chaos and feel overwhelmed or stuck—call them. Do not wait. These people are the real deal. Forever thankful. 💛
