I was a client with this brokerage for nearly a decade. Early on, my broker failed to set up auto-pay on my policy, despite my explicitly telling him I would be leaving the country and would not be receiving mail. I only discovered the lapse by chance when I picked up mail later. To them, it was treated as a minor “error,” yet no one called me to warn me—even though the risk and consequences were obvious.
Later, when I changed brokerages, my original broker sold my business back to this firm, which I then stayed with. After that, I had two very minor incidents. In one, my car had no damage at all; the other vehicle only required light buffing, yet I was told the repair would cost $1,200. In another incident, a driver opened his door into me while I was pulling out—this was on video—yet fault was still not properly handled in my view.
When my policy was finally updated, my insurance jumped to nearly $600 per month for a 2011 vehicle.
Based on my experience, this brokerage does not advocate for its clients. Errors are minimized, accountability is lacking, and the client ultimately bears the cost. I would not describe them as being on the client’s side.
