  Most disgusting insurance company, or rather company in general that I’ve ever dealt with. I’m a single father and had to make 2 claims and this company basically took forever to respond and for 2 different claims. They claimed the same exception 7 and 24 that I wasn’t covered. So, it’s very possible I could lose my house on my little girl and I, because of and from FCT! Surely pick any other title insurance company over FCT. Unless you want to lose like my little girl and I have and are. The ones who’ve ruined everything for me are Leslie Heringer, claims Handler. Then I went right up to so called Director, claims & recovery whom literally did nothing, but pass back off to Leslie Heringer whom denied both claims, one as a multi-family residence and one as a single family dwelling. Yet, I was denied for both from same exemptions? Run!!! If you ever hear about getting this company for title insurance. They’ve basically and very probable to have ruined my little girl and my life!

  Please never ever trust FCT to do your mortgage or transaction. It is completely a fraud. I have had two transactions where one client's mortgage money was disbursed and FCT forgot to register the mortgage. At the time of closing, after we reached out to our client, he advised that he had a mortgage, but the title showed nothing. Then they rushed to register it, and on the closing date it came out, which almost put the client in default. In another situation, they disbursed the money and registered a new mortgage, but the existing mortgage was never discharged. They are just a mess. Please pay a little extra money and go with a lawyer. Do not put your house at risk just to save a little bit of money. They are just a mess.

  Absolutely HORRIBLE service. We have been waiting three weeks just to book a signing appointment for our mortgage paperwork. The team has been dragging their heels for no apparent reason, not responding to requests and failing to provide the most basic service. We are now running up against the deadline for no reason apart from FCT’s complete lack of service. No one knows what’s going on or can answer questions and they are quite literally jeopardizing our refinance. This firm is the absolute worst entity I have dealt with in real estate transactions. Fully incompetent and unresponsive.
