  I had a very disappointing experience with this State Farm office. I called to file a claim after a State Farm policyholder hit my legally parked vehicle. The agent, Jose, was repeatedly unhelpful and unprofessional. He told me I needed to contact the claims department, but before giving me the number, he argued about liability and repeatedly said that filing a claim “wouldn’t do anything” or “guarantee repairs,” which isn’t accurate unless there is evidence that their insured is not at fault. This continued even after I made it clear multiple times that I still needed to file a claim. When I explained that my vehicle isn’t driven and therefore isn’t insured, he lectured me about insurance laws even after I clarified the situation. When I asked for the claims phone number for the 4th time, he finally provided it and said it was only because he wanted me “off his line already,” and added that I could “just Google it.” He also laughed during our call, which I found extremely unprofessional. I have never dealt with this level of rudeness and dismissive behavior. It made an already stressful situation worse. I have documentation of this and will be reporting this experience to State Farm.

  I’ve had a very frustrating experience with State Farm agent Jose Olguin. He refused to resolve a billing issue involving my September payment, first claiming it wasn’t received and then later confirming that it was — yet I’m still being overcharged. He has hung up on me, ignored my emails, and failed to follow up or offer any real help. This kind of unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. I expected better from State Farm and from a licensed agent representing their brand.

  Jose Olguin and his team at State Farm are phenomenal. Jose showed a commitment and level of professionalism that’s uncommon nowadays, but he ensured our business had the right plan in place to protect our interests and provide our employees with a great workers compensation plan. What I appreciated most was Jose’s willingness to walk me through the process and availability whenever questions arose. I will be recommending him and his team for anyone who’s in need of commercial insurance advise! Thank you Jose!
