WOW!!!
After over 15 years of service with this agent, I could no longer pay the premiums as they kept going up and up year after year even though I have zero tickets or accidents during the span of service.
The real WOW in this is how ungrateful, difficult, and humiliated they leave you feeling for canceling their overpriced service.
I had called them almost 1 month before I planned to end service and ask to be removed from their auto payment service.
They told me sure no problem but I would have to send an email to cancel. Ok everything fine up till I give them a call back to cancel, and Jevi answers my call and right off the bat started being combative disrespectful and just being difficult with a simple request.
First I was never removed from auto payment, and cancellation would require me sending an email to their boss, the top dog, with my new insurance information and reasons for cancellation.
When caught off guard by all this I tried to explain that it had been over one month since my last call and I was given no direction on what needed to be done to be remove feim auto payments. Then I asked why I would need to provide new insurance information for cancellation? This made no sense to me.
We get into a loud back and forth thats going nowhere so I said fine ill send the email for the auto payment removal and when I get a chance I'll send over policy of new carrier.
I then spend 20-30 minutes trying to confirm receipt of email. I call back and everyone in the office says thay are not receiving my emails even though my end says sent.
Finally I guess Joylyn steps in and tells them it's ok to just send an email to Jevi to cancel who finally says he's receiving my drafts, and it ends there.
I waited 3 days to confirm everything had been done and it's finally over!
Imagine being a loyal customer for over 15 years, probably paid somewhere between 60-70k during this time and this was the farewell they gave me.
So please do yourself a favor and shop around, don't feel.like you need to support this business because in the end all they care about is ripping you off and taking your money!

Referred to the Long Beach, CA office of Joilyn Hanley: Allstate Insurance in search of auto insurance for two vehs. Found the agent Jevi to be efficient and professional. The entire process was conducted over the phone and online with rates substantially below our previous insurer. They have a new client.
