*This was not a result of an unpaid balance. This was the result of unanswered emails, unanswered phone calls and voicemails, bad and dishonest advice, and a failure from this office to properly adjudicate a problem that arose, and transfer a FULLY PAID FOR policy to the appropriate address. Instead, this money hungry agency had me paying for two policies at once, to insure the same personal property
Payment stopped on one, because it was not needed. Then they fully cancelled me, with various phone calls and emails unanswered leading up to that point, and afterward too.
The other policy was fully paid and should have been transferred. Chris Lopez's failure to respond, and the incompetance of his sales agent, is what led to this failure and aggrevation. I have five emails to Chris that to date never recieved a reply, in addition to multiple phone calls and voicemails. They didn't even provide the policy documents I needed after they pushed me into buying a second policy, and I had to call corporate to chase them down, who also agreed that my personal agent should have sent them. Incredible how helpful they want to be, after receiving a bad review.
Chris Lopez was once responsive, helpful, and nice, when he first took over the agency, and frankly, for the next couple of years. However, that has changed in recent months, and I don't know what has happened. It is completely bizarre. He has also, unfortunately, hired sales agents who lack honesty and integrity, and who don't want to bother answering simple questions, all while trying to upsell new policies. The whole purpose of working with an agent is so that you can ask questions and get guidance. This agency does not offer that. They're just interested in making a quick buck, even if it means providing incorrect information, or leaving you high and dry. Then they ignore you, and are blatantly rude and condescending when you call them on it. That was my experience with Dalton and Mark, and Chris Lopez couldn't be bothered to respond when I reached out for help multiple times. I was completely screwed over by this agency's incompetance, carelessness, and unresponsiveness, and I was cancelled as a result, after years and years as a customer. I cannot imagine what it would be like filing a claim with these untrustworthy people at Chris Lopez's agency.
