- ACAlex cApr 15, 20251.0I had my policy canceled while I was trying to get proof of insurance for a rental. They are taking a week to fix the issue and won't cover my cab or Uber fees. They didn't confirm the cancellation with me; I only found out after receiving a letter weeks later. I've been driving a rental around LA with no insurance because of this surprise cancelation. I need the car for work and asked if they could issue a new policy so I could drive today, but they refused and said I would be charged for the gap in coverage that they created. Additionally, it's difficult to reach them by phone. I've been with this company for over 30 years, but I will be switching as soon as I can.
