  This company has slipped a long way since I started with them. You spend hours on hold and don't end up talking to anyone. I have spent over 10 hours on hold over 3 phone calls trying to make a policy change. I believe actions speak louder than words and this company obviously doesn't care about it's clients at all.

  After a decade of being an AMA customer I'm now looking to switch insurance providers. Spent more than 2hr 14.4 mins on hold even after entering my member number. I cannot remember a single instance when I did not receive an "unprecedented demand" or equivalent message. AMA, you have many decades of call logs, you should by now know how many calls you will receive on any given day. Saying it's unexpected is a lie, and honestly feels insulting. Trying to gaslight customers is not an ethical way to conduct business. I call once or twice a year, and the agent always apologizes for the wait and that they're working to improve the wait time. Then why does it feel like wait times are getting longer! Your 2025 nonprofit filings indicate 25.077 million in after tax profits. You're not about to go insolvent and could probably attract more customers increasing profits if you answered the phone!

  Been with AMA for 9 years. The one time I needed to have information on my policy I was put on hold for 3 hours. I Will be switching insurance providers and I would suggest not going with ama for anything other than roadside assistance.

  Very poor service try to make a call and you get nothing but a rerun of voice prompts
