  If you don't have a membership with them, don't bother. You can't book an appointment to talk to a person, because this is considered a premium service only reserved for "VIP" customers (anyone with a membership only). You call their branch, only to argue with an AI who forces you into 1 of 4 options. Once you are in a lane, you are stuck on the phone for hours. I've called at the start of their day (8AM) only to be on hold for hours. It's like they don't want new business and dislike non members. If they don't change this policy around, I can't see them existing for a long time. Their membership doesn't add value and prevents them from getting any new business. As a quick note to the person who monitors the google reviews - don't be sorry, you're not experiencing higher than normal call volume at 8AM, just change the policy to allow people to call in. Edit: to put it in context, I've been on hold now for 4 hours and I finally been able to talk to a pushy "new canadian" who tries to push the membership and disregards anything that you're saying. Constantly interrupts you and it's your fault for talking. For legality purposes, he says at the end he's not pushing the membership, but refuses to talk about anything else. Really, really poor experience.

  I have met Zyanne Prete at the AMA office a couple of times to couple of times in the last week for my auto insurance coverage and membership sign up. Zyanne was very professional, patient and extremely helpful both times. She is an excellent insurance advisor.

  Terrible Experience with AMA Insurance I am absolutely appalled by the way AMA Insurance treats its customers. I was going through a difficult financial period and accidentally missed a payment deadline. However, I realized my mistake and paid the amount in full before the due date, thinking the issue was resolved. To my shock, they still canceled my policy without any warning or flexibility. This rigid, automated policy is not just frustrating—it's damaging. Because of their unwillingness to show any understanding or work with a customer facing temporary financial hardship, this cancellation will now stay on my record, affecting my history and future rates. There was zero customer care, no attempt to understand my situation, and no decency shown. I strongly urge anyone who values fairness or compassion to avoid AMA Insurance at all costs.
